MARK ROLPH – Chairman
Mark has served the oil industry for over 40 years working for a number of Oil & Gas Majors and Independents in many roles including – senior management, technical, operations, supply, distribution, sales and marketing. He has experience of helping with major company mergers including Amoco/Elf and Total/Fina/Elf.
Since 2012 Mark has been active in public affairs working alongside Government departments in the UK and at the EU in Brussels. He is a regular attendee at the EU Refining Forum reviewing the status of our refineries and of the Directives that govern their future.
TERESA SAYERS – CEO
Teresa was appointed CEO to the DFA in September 2010. Prior to that she spent a brief period in the oil industry before moving to financial services where she held a variety of roles including being CEO of the Financial Services Skills Council. Teresa is vice president of the UPEI – the voice of European independent fuel suppliers – which represents the interests of national associations and companies operating across 16 European Union member states.
JERRY BURTON – Technical Director
Jerry studied chemistry at Manchester University; he is a Chartered Chemist and a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He has spent over 30 years working in the petroleum industry for two of the world’s major fuel additive companies and was responsible for the design, development, manufacture and deployment of fuel additives to the global fuel industry. Jerry was the manager of fuel quality at one of the UK’s leading retail fuel suppliers, and is a member of BSi’s PTI 02 Liquid Fuels committee, the CEN WG 21 and 24 Committees, and the CEN TF FAME and Ethanol Fuels Task Force.
ROS ATTRIDGE – Company Secretary
Ros has worked for the DFA and its predecessor organisation, the Association of UK Oil Independents (AUKOI), since 1998 managing their finances and latterly as Company Secretary. Initially she worked in consumer protection for local government.
